Frank, Troup to Represent Tigers at SEC Tipoff '22

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Senior forward Hayley Frank and graduate guard Haley Troup will represent University of Missouri Women’s Basketball at SEC Tipoff ’22 on Tuesday, Oct. 18 in Birmingham, Ala. The preseason media event will be streamed live on SEC Network.

Frank, who started in every game last season, led the conference in 3-point percentage (46.2%), a mark that ranks second in program history. The Strafford, Mo. native averaged career-highs with 15.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists a season ago.

Troup, a graduate student entering her sixth season as a member of the program, started in all but two games last season and set career highs in field goals, rebounds and steals, while averaging 8.5 points and ranking 16th in the SEC with 3.0 assists per contest. The Gadsden, Ala. native has made a whopping 116 career appearances for the Tigers, amassing 53 starts.

In addition to local media members, coaches and players will conduct interviews with representatives from SEC Network, ESPN and Turner Sports.

SEC Tipoff will be held in person at the Grand Bohemian Hotel for the first time since 2019, as the SEC Tipoff took a two-year hiatus due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
