Seth Curry thinks Nets star Ben Simmons will pick up where he left off

Simmons ‘feeling a lot better’ after surgery

Brooklyn Nets sharpshooter Seth Curry has been talking a lot to the media recently, including a couple of comments on the recovering Ben Simmons.

In an interview, Curry talked about how tough it can be to mentally get back into the game after a hard injury.

It can be tough. I think it’s going to be really tough for him obviously, he just missed the entire season. I’ve been through some of the things, missing a season,  with the injuries but it’s tough to get that rhythm back in. Get used to play in five on five but I think if you attack your rehab, if you just take it day by day, get stronger and get everything back into healthy, everything should be fine. So I’m looking forward to obviously playing with him again, great talent, great player and brings a lot to the team. So hopefully when he gets out there, it gets his body right, mind right, because he’s out there going.

Curry toured the country of Australia, Simmons’ home country, and spoke on the challenges that may face him on the road to recovery. He also told one media outlet that the playmaking forward, “doesn’t need a jump shot.”
