The Atlanta Hawks will transfer shooting guardKevin Huerter to the Sacramento Kings for Aaron Holiday, Mo Harkless and a 2024 lottery-protected first-round pick (hat tip to ESPNβs Adrian Wojnarowski).
The Hawks have gained an additional veteran depth into their wing slate upon the acquisition of Holiday and Harkless, included with a draft pick that can be an asset for potential future use. On the other hand, the Kings gained a reliable marksman and a complementary partner for DeβAaron Fox at the backcourt.
Atlanta already acquired the service of one-time All-star Dejounte Murray from the San Antonio Spurs to partner him with franchise leader Trae Young, which could suggest this reported shipping of Huerter. Meanwhile, Sacramento recently signed Malik Monk to a two-year partnership.
