Stephen Silas on Dennis Schroder’s impact on the Rockets

Dennis Schroder is set to become an unrestricted free agent in summer. The German point guard has played for four different teams over the last three years.

His latest stop is Houston. Rockets head coach Stephen Silas is happy with what Schroder brought to his young team. While did not speak about whether the team will try to remain the point guard, he did praise his impact on the young players.

“I love Dennis. He’s been really good for us, as far as his point guard play, as far as his leadership, as far as being a veteran that we need, because we are so young.

“He’s the kind of guy who pulls people together. Off the floor, but on the floor, as well. He’ll get them together at the free-throw line and talk to the guys, and get them organized. That’s an important quality to have, especially for our young group.
