FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women’s basketball lost to UC San Diego on Senior Night at Titan Gym by a final score of 78-72. The Titans are now 10-15 and 5-10 in Big West play.
Ashlee Lewis led the team off the bench with 21 points on an extremely efficient 7-of-10 shooting from the field while adding eight rebounds eight rebounds and four blocks on the defensive end.
Lily Wahinekapu scored 16 points with five rebounds and two assists with four steals. In her last game at Titan Gym, Caroly Gill dropped 15 points while grabbing three rebounds and dishing out three assists.
Julia Macabuhay had a game-high 26 points off the bench for UC San Diego on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor. Sydney Brown contributed with 17 points and eight rebounds.
Prior to the game Cal State Fullerton Athletics and the women’s basketball program honored three seniors, Carolyn Gill, Janette Mensah and Clarissa Rodarte in their last home game at Titan Gym.
