Scoring 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field in 25 minutes of action, Payton also recorded six steals and a block of reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic that resulted in a hilarious celebration after the play.
After the game, coach Steve Kerr praised GP2’s performance, saying he played “fantastic” and a “brilliant game.”
