The Red Raiders didn’t have too much trouble with the TCU Horned Frogs at home this past Saturday as they won 82-69. Texas Tech’s guard Terrence Shannon Jr. was one of the most active players for the squad, picking up 20 points.
Meanwhile, Baylor had enough points to win and then some against the Texas Longhorns this past Saturday, taking their contest 80-63. The Bears’ success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but guard James Akinjo led the charge as he had 15 points and seven assists along with six boards.
