NCAA Regional Rankings
Indianapolis, Ind. — The Minnesota State women’s basketball team has been ranked eighth in the first edition of the NCAA Central Region rankings.
The NCAA Central region is comprised of teams from the Great American Conference (GAC), MId-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The top eight teams advance to the NCAA regional tournament held on March 11-14. Winners of their respective conference tournaments will receive an automatic bid to participate in the regional tournament, while the remaining five spots will be awarded by at-large bids.
