Golden State is just one of two NBA teams playing the second of back-to-back games on Thursday, and is coming off of a rare loss after Utah defeated it on Wednesday. Stephen Curry was outscored by teammate Jordan Poole, and hit just 38 percent of his shots from the field. The Warriors have played games on consecutive days nine times this season, but average more points (106.9) than at any other interval. Much of that is because Curry has played some of his best basketball without time off in between starts.
This season, Curry averaged 28 points with 6.4 assists and 4.8 rebounds in five starts with no rest.
