The Navy Midshipmen are 10-2 against the Lafayette Leopards since January of 2016, and they’ll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Midshipmen and Lafayette will face off in a Patriot battle at 7 p.m. ET at Alumni Hall. Both teams are tiptoeing into their game after sneaking past their previous opponents.
The Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds typically have all the answers at home, but this past Saturday Navy proved too difficult a challenge. Navy escaped with a win by the margin of a single free throw, 56-55. Having forecasted a close win for them, the oddsmakers were right on the money.
Speaking of close games: Lafayette narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bucknell Bison 74-72.
