CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The University of Illinois Fighting Illini women’s basketball game at Northwestern – scheduled for this Sunday, Jan. 30 at NU’s Welsh-Ryan Arena – has been postponed out of an abundance of caution due to positive COVID-19 test results within the Illini program.
The decision was made in accordance with the Big Ten’s COVID-19 protocols. This conference office will coordinate the rescheduling process. If the game is not able to be rescheduled, it would count as a “no contest” for both teams.
