CLEVELAND, Ohio – After posting back-to-back clutch performances against Hiram College and Allegheny College, the North Coast Athletic Conference named Kenyon College women’s basketball player Katie Orefice this week’s player of the week.
In the Ladies’ 69-63 win against Hiram, Orefice posted 21 points, six rebounds, five assists, and five steals.
Following the road win, Orefice and the Ladies returned home to take on Allegheny College where the Weston, Connecticut native came up big in the final two minutes of the match. With the Ladies down by two, Orefice converted on a jumper to tie the game up at 66. On the next possession, Orefice drove the lane and scored on a layup to retake the lead.
