DAYTON – The University of Dayton women’s basketball team fights their way back from a 10 point deficit from early in the fourth quarter. The Flyer’s end the game with a pair of back-to-back free throws and that earns them their 8th consecutive win.

The Flyers improve to 14-3 (5-0 A-10) while the Rams fall to 13-5 (4-2 A-10) going into the rest of Atlantic 10 play.

0:08 in 4th – Graduate Student Jenna Giacone hits a pair of free throws to give the Flyers the lead and complete the comeback versus Fordham. 

 

GAME BREAKDOWN

1st Quarter: Dayton 12, Fordham 15

Graduate student Erin Whalen drilled double three pointers to get the scoring going for the Flyers.

Both teams traded buckets back-and-forth as the score was even 8-8 at the midway point in the opening quarter.
