Recap: Ram fans packed the Stu on Saturday afternoon as they welcomed in Saint Joseph’s for an early afternoon 2:30pm tip off. The back and forth battle would see the Rams come out the victor, 70-54.
Senior Vince Williams led all Rams in scoring with 21 points. Senior KeShawn Curry chipped in 12 while sophomore guard Ace Baldwin contributed 11 points.
VCU connected on 14 of their 19 free throws.
Prior to tip off, VCU Athletics held a jersey retirement ceremony for VCU legend, Treveon Graham. Graham was joined at mid-court by his family and another VCU legend, Briante Weber.
Next Game: VCU will travel to North Carolina on Wednesday, January 26th to play Davidson. The game will start at 8:30pm and will be televised The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
