The IUPUI Jaguars lost both of their matches to the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers last season on scores of 76-83 and 72-84, so they’re hoping to turn the tables this season. IUPUI and Wisconsin-Milwaukee will face off in a Horizon League battle at 3 p.m. ET Saturday at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
The contest between the Jaguars and the Green Bay Phoenix on Thursday was not a total blowout, but with IUPUI falling 69-54 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin-Milwaukee was close but no cigar on Thursday as they fell 81-77 to the Illinois-Chicago Flames.
IUPUI is the clear underdog, so they’re hoping it’s the size of the fight that determines this one….
