The Marquette Golden Eagles have enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. Marquette and the Georgetown Hoyas will face off in a Big East battle at 6:30 p.m. ET on Friday at Capital One Arena. The teams split their matchups last year, with the Golden Eagles winning the first 64-60 and Georgetown taking the second 68-49.
Marquette couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2022 than the 88-56 stomp they dished out against the Providence Friars at home on Tuesday. Marquette can attribute much of their success to forward Justin Lewis, who posted a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds.
