GAMBIER, Ohio — After committing just 22 combined turnovers in a pair of weekend wins, the Kenyon College Ladies returned to the basketball court Wednesday and racked up 19 turnovers in a 59-51 North Coast Athletic Conference loss to the Wittenberg University Tigers.
While some of the turnovers were unforced, the Wittenberg defense, which had a dozen steals, had a lot to do with the majority of them. Additionally, the Tigers defense held the Ladies to just 31.0 percent (18-of-58) shooting.
