The New Orleans Pelicans’ homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Los Angeles Clippers at 8 p.m. ET Jan. 13 at Smoothie King Center. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
It was a close one, but on Tuesday New Orleans sidestepped the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 128-125 win. The Pelicans’ small forward Brandon Ingram did his thing and shot 6-for-7 from beyond the arc and finished with 33 points and nine dimes.
Speaking of close games: Los Angeles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, sneaking past 87-85. The victory came about thanks to a strong surge after the half to overcome a 41-28 deficit.
