Parnes Cartwright was re-elected as Chairperson of the NWBA Adult Division for a second term. A committee member since 2013, Parnes brings over 25 years of leadership in basketball, sport business, coaching, and community service. He played a key role in launching Division II and shaping the Adult Division Guidelines. A former creative producer of the award-winning film The Rebound and a member of the Directors Guild of America, Parnes has worked alongside entertainment icons and served as a U.S. Department of State Sports Envoy. He holds degrees from the University of Miami and Barry University.
Jacob Couch was re-elected for a second term as an At-Large Member of the NWBA Adult Division Committee. A dedicated volunteer and leader in adaptive sports, Jacob actively supports the Lakeshore Foundation across recreational events, youth programming, and competitive tournaments. He is a certified NWBA classifier and tournament operations volunteer, with aspirations to serve as an International Technical Official (ITO) and Game Commissioner for both the NWBA and USWRA. His experience includes roles at the 2023 Parapan American Games, 2022 World Games, and with organizations such as Move United and the United States Wheelchair Rugby Association.
