Great Danes Head to No.1 Bryant for 2025 Jersey Mike’s America East Men’s Basketball Semifinals


ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany men’s basketball team has advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Jersey Mikes America East Men’s Basketball Playoffs and will take on the No.1 Bryant Bulldogs on Tuesday, March 11, at 9:00 pm on ESPN2

Leading the Pack

  • Joshua owns a team-high 80 assists.
  • Kacper Klaczek leads the team in denying shots with 25 total blocks.
  • Langford Jr. tallies a team-high 47 steals.
  • In minutes, DeMarr Langford Jr. leads the team with 979 total minutes played, averaging 31.6 minutes per game.
  • Joshua and Langford Jr. are the only two Great Danes averaging 30 minutes or more, with Joshua at 34.9 minutes per game and Langford Jr. at 31.6 per game.  

 
Scouting Bryant
The Bulldogs are coming off an America East quarterfinals win against No.8 UMBC, 85-74. This season, Bryant is averaging 82.2 points, 30.1 field goals, 8.0 threes, 14.1 free throws, 41.1 rebounds, 14.9 assists, 11.8 turnovers, 6.7 steals, and 6.0 blocks per game.

The 2025 Kevin Roberson Player of the Year, Earl Timberlake, is the only player in the country averaging more than 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game this season and ranks second in the league, averaging 8.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and blocks 1.7 blocks per game with a team-high 256 total rebounds with 256 (74 off – 182 def) and assists at 142.
