MSU Basketball moves up in latest ESPN ‘Bracketology’ update

Michigan State basketball continues to move up in the latest round of Bracketology from ESPN.

Joe Lunardi of ESPN released his updated batch of NCAA Tournament bracket projections on Tuesday, and the Spartans have once again moved up. Michigan State is now listed as the No. 3 seed in the East Region. Lunardi has the Spartans playing No. 14 seed Akron in the first round of the projected NCAA Tournament field.

Michigan State is currently on an 11-game winning streak that dates back to the Maui Invitational in November. The Spartans are 16-2 overall and 7-0 in Big Ten play, and won’t play again until Saturday against Rutgers at Madison Square Garden.

Lunardi has a total of 10 Big Ten teams in his updated bracketology post.
