Iowa basketball within ESPN bracketology bubble picture

After consecutive Big Ten wins over Nebraska and Indiana, Iowa began its West Coast swing with a frustrating loss against USC.

Though Iowa shot 53.3% from the field and knocked down 11 3-pointers against the Trojans, the Hawkeyes couldn’t find an answer defensively at USC in a 99-89 loss on Tuesday night.

Still, the Iowa Hawkeyes are in the mix for a return to the NCAA Tournament. In its latest edition of bracketology, ESPN has Iowa firmly in the mix for an NCAA Tournament berth.

With a Friday night date against UCLA ahead, here’s the latest look at Iowa’s NCAA tournament outlook according to ESPN bracketology.
