Florida basketball vs Tennessee Volunteers: Prediction, picks, odds

Florida basketball hosts the Tennessee Volunteers inside the O’Connell Center on Tuesday night for the Gators’ Southeastern Conference home opener. This battle between two top-10 teams is expected to be a close one, particularly in the eyes of the oddsmakers.

Todd Golden’s gang is 13-1 coming into play and ranked eighth in both the USA TODAY Coaches Poll and AP Poll. They are also eighth in the NET rankings as well.

Rick Barnes’ team is the last undefeated team in Division I, at 14-0, which has earned them the top spot in both major polls and most other rankings. Tennessee won last year’s only matchup on Knoxville, 85-66.

Florida vs Tennessee prediction, pick

The Gators hopefully learned their lesson against the Wildcats on Saturday, as the Vols will be an even tougher matchup. However, the Rowdy Reptiles will be out in force inside the O’Dome, where Florida has historically been a tough team to beat.
