NOTES

On Friday on 1067 The Fan Ed Cooley said he was hopefully that Malik Mack (lower body injury) would play vs Coppin State. Mack has missed the Hoyas past two games after a great all around performance at Syracuse on Dec. 14.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

Georgetown: A victory today and the Hoyas will have their best start through 13 games since beginning the 2012 season at 12-1. A win would also mean that Georgetown beat all the teams they were supposed to beat in the non-conference portion of the schedule. That last happened in Patrick Ewing’s first season back in 2018. This would be another sign of progress.

ODDS

Georgetown is a huge 29.5 point favorite on Saturday. It’s the second largest favorite position for Georgetown since at least the late 1990s. The Hoyas are 1-1-1 ATS when being favored by at least 29 points. Georgetown failed to cover vs UMES as 30.5 point favorites, covered vs FIU and pushed vs Towson as 29 point favorites.

Nov. 6, 2018 -30.5 vs UMES
Dec. 23, 2008 -29 vs FIU
