About the Arizona State Sun Devils
- Arizona State University, located in Tempe, has an enrollment of 41,159 undergraduate students and 13,194 graduate students. The Sun Devils are members of the Big 12 Conference.
- Bobby Hurley enters his 10th season on the Sun Devils’ bench with 155 victories, ranking third among Arizona State head coaches. The former Duke guard has guided ASU to four 20-win campaigns and three trips to the NCAA tournament.
- Arizona State’s roster consists of five returners, seven transfers and four freshmen. The Sun Devils return just one of their top five scorer’s from last season’s 14-18 squad, as redshirt senior guard Adam Miller brings 12.0 points per game back to this year’s lineup.
- Among ASU’s group of freshmen are two newcomers that were ranked in the top 25 of the 2024 recruiting class, according to ESPN. Jayden Quaintance, listed as a 6-9 forward out of Word of God Christian Academy (Raleigh, N.C.), was ranked 17th overall, second at center (behind Duke’s Khaman Maluach) and third from North Carolina (behind Duke’s Isaiah Evans), while Joson Sanon, a 6-5 guard from Saxton Rivers, Vermont, was positioned No. 23 overall.
- Last season, Arizona State topped the Big 12 and ranked 24th nationally in turnover margin (+3.3), and finished second in the conference and 19th nationally in fast break points (14.3 per game).
