21 Former ACC Standouts Named to WNBA Opening Day Rosters


CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – With the 2024 WNBA season getting underway on Tuesday, 21 former Atlantic Coast Conference student-athletes will begin the season on opening-day rosters.
 
With 21 players on active rosters, the ACC has second-most players among all conferences. At least one former ACC player will be represented on nine of the 12 WNBA teams.
 
The Chicago Sky will feature five former ACC players, including Notre Dame trio Lindsay Allen, Marina Mabrey and Brianna Turner. Also on the Sky are Duke’s Elizabeth Williams and Louisville’s Dana Evans. Eight different ACC schools are represented while Notre Dame leads all ACC schools with seven active WNBA players.
