Lee 20th In Division II LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Lee University Athletics is 20th in the LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup standings for Division II after the winter sport seasons came to a conclusion. Four sports for Lee earned points in the giving the Flames 145.75 points. In the fall, Lee earned 180.5 points and now have 326.25.

The Lady Flames track and field team came in 36th at the national championships and earned 32 points. The Flames track and field team was 12th at the national championships and earned 63.75 points. The Lady Flames and Flames basketball teams each finished 33rd and earned 25 points. 

Grand Valley State (792.5 total points), sits in first in Division II. Colorado School of Mines is in second place with 632.50 points, Wingate is in third with 539 points, West Texas A&M is in fourth place with 481.50 points and Colorado Mesa rounds out the top-five with 465.50 points.

Lee is the highest Gulf South Conference team in the rankings. The University of West of West Florida is in 44th with 212.50 points. Delta State is 75th with 165.00 points.




The 2023-24 Division II LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup winter standings will begin distribution on June 11.

The LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
