On Easter night, the Chicago Bulls took on the Minnesota Timberwolves and ended with a 109-101 victory. A major part of that win was due to the efficient shooting from Texas A&M legend Alex Caruso. Typically known for his defensive prowess, Caruso had a hot hand from the three-point line, which resulted in a career night that went 7-8 from beyond the arc for the 6th year guard. His 21 points were the second-highest point total of the season to a 23-point performance in an overtime victory over the Indiana Pacers back in March.
Caruso still did his thing on the defensive side of the ball, too, with five steals matching his season high from late February against the Detroit Pistons. This is no surprise, considering he made the All-Defensive Team in 2023. He has the type of the game that can play for many more years having established himself as one of the best defenders in the league. Below are some of his three-point shots from the game and why he had such a hot hand.
