For the first time in program history, the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball program advanced to the March Madness Final Four. On Saturday night, the Crimson Tide were able to defeat the No. 6 seed Clemson Tigers in the Elite Eight by a final score of 89-82.

Over the course of the game, Alabama had significant contributions from multiple players. Nate Oats’ squad battled back from a 13-point deficit early on in the first half to take a halftime lead. In the second half, Alabama held the lead and managed to come away with the seven-point victory.

Alabama will now move on to face UCONN Huskies in the Final Four next weekend, but experts are leaning toward the No. 1 seed. However, the Crimson Tide could pull off the upset if its top producers are able to perform on the biggest stage in basketball.
