Walker scored a team-high15 points to lead the Spartans, while senior guard A.J. Hoggard had eight points, 10 assists and four rebounds, graduate forward Malik Hall added 12 points and seven rebounds and sophomore guard Tre Holloman finished with 10 points and four rebounds.

- The Spartans trailed by 12 points, 39-27, early in the second half, cut the lead to three points (48-45) and then fell behind by eight points before a late run tied the game.
