ESPN Bracketology: Latest update on Wisconsin entering final stretch

Wisconsin basketball enters the final stretch of the 2023-24 regular season in a free fall.

The team has lost seven of its last nine games, including inexplicable losses at Indiana and last-place Michigan. The slide since the start of February has included a drop from No. 6 in the AP Poll to unranked entirely, moving from first place in the Big Ten standings to outside the top four, a regression in KenPom, ESPN BPI and other metrics, and a steep fall from being a near 1-seed in most bracketologies

The Badgers still have regular season games remaining against Rutgers and top-ranked Purdue before postseason play begins. It’s a tall task, but opportunities still await for the team to generate momentum entering the NCAA Tournament.
