PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women’s basketball team (8-19, 2-12 B1G) will host its annual Play4Kay game against Wisconsin (11-12, 4-9 B1G) on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m.
Through Play4Kay, former NC State head coach Kay Yow saw a way to bring communities together and honor cancer warriors in the fight against ALL cancers affecting women. One woman is diagnosed with cancer every minute and Rutgers University, along with head coach Coquese Washington, are united in the fight against all cancers affecting women.

The Scarlet Knights will celebrate cancer survivors and warriors throughout the game and during a special halftime ceremony. Survivors can still claim up to four free tickets here.
Rutgers will wear special pink uniforms during the contest against the Badgers and all fans are encouraged to wear pink, too. Official RU Play4Kay shirts will also be on-sale at the arena on Saturday.
There will also be postgame autographs on the concourse.
The contest is presented by RWJBaranabas Health and the Rutgers Cancer Institute. In addition, the entire 2023-24 season is presented by Prudential.
2024 Play4Kay Pledge It Playoff
Rutgers is participating in the 2024 Play4Kay Pledge It Playoff. Fans can support the Scarlet Knights by making a pledge for every free throw made during the month of February or by making a one-time flat donation. Every pledge will help to make an impact on the fight against all cancers affecting women. The team will be competing against basketball teams around the country to see who can raise the most money for the fight against cancer. You can support Rutgers and make a donation here.
