How to watch Gators vs Merrimack Warriors Tuesday

Florida basketball returns to the court on Tuesday night to take on the Merrimack Warriors inside the O’Connell Center for the eighth game of the 2023-24 campaign, and if you are looking to follow the action you have come to the right place.

The Gators and Warriors face each other for the first time ever on the parquet. Florida has just two previous matchups against Northeast Conference teams — a pair of home wins in the 1990s vs. LIU and St. Francis (PA). The Orange and Blue bring a 4-3 record into the matchup while the visitors are 4-5 so far.

Florida is in the midst of a six-of-seven game stretch in neutral or road environments, with Tuesday night’s game being the lone exception.

Take a look below at everything you need to know for Tuesday night’s affair between Florida and Merrimack.

The Gators are in need of a win before the 2023-24 schedule starts to become littered with Q1 talent from the SEC and beyond. Merrimack has struggled to hold Power Five opponents like Ohio State to less than 80 points, something the Gators have done five times this season.

Merrimack has difficulty breaching the 70-point mark if the opposition’s defense is stout, and the Gators should be able to control the paint. As long as Florida keeps Dercack at bay and away from the free-throw line, fans should expect a convincing victory for head coach Todd Golden and his squad. — Jesse Richardson
