It was the Dylan Disu show on Saturday night.
No. 2 Texas failed to get anything going offensively against No. 10 Penn State from behind the arc. The Longhorns went 1-for-13 from the three-point line in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
However, Texas forward Dylan Disu stepped up and put the team on his back. The Pflugerville native finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds, hitting clutch shots when it mattered most.
Disu’s performance took the college basketball world by storm, garnering shoutouts from former Longhorns and NBA greats Kevin Durant and LaMarcus Aldridge among others.
Texas is now Sweet 16 bound for the first time since 2008. If Disu continues to play at this level, the Longhorns will be tough to beat. Here’s a look at the best reactions from Disu’s career performance against Penn State.
