What time is Penn State-Texas A&M game?

How to watch Penn State vs. Maryland college basketball game on Sunday

It’s been a long time coming, but Penn State is officially back in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Penn State has waited since 2011 to return to the big dance, and they will continue to wait a little longer on the first full day of the tournament before finally getting to step on the court against Texas A&M in a matchup of conference runners-up from the conference tournaments in the Big Ten and SEC, respectively.

Penn State will play in the fourth game of the Thursday schedule from the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. As the fourth game on the schedule, Penn State’s game with Texas A&M could be pushed back by any amount of time depending on how quickly the first three games of the day are played. The schedule kicks off with top-seed Kansas taking on Howard in a West Region matchup at 2:00 p.m. ET. That is followed by Illinois facing Arkansas and then Texas facing Colgate in the late afternoon and evening portion of the schedule. After that, Jalen Pickett and Penn State will look to close out the day with a long-awaited tournament win over Texas A&M to advance to Saturday’s second-round action.

Here is how to watch the basketball game on Thursday night. It is advised you put on a pot of coffee.

Penn State continues to be without forward Caleb Dorsey due to an undisclosed injury that has been lingering throughout the season. There is no timetable for his return to the lineup, so Penn State will look to move on without him as long as necessary.

Texas A&M’s only player appearing on the injury report continues to be forward Ethan Henderson. According to the injury report, Henderson has been away from the team for an unknown personal reason since November. There are no other injuries or player status updates of note.

Updated college basketball injury updates can be found on the USA TODAY Sports injury report.
