Klay Thompson said that the Warriors would prove on their five-game road trip that the team has addressed its issues on the road, but after Wednesday’s high-scoring shootout in Los Angeles, the questions remain.
The Warriors allowed the Clippers to score 134 points, and a 50-point night from Steph Curry wasn’t enough as Golden State fell, 134-126.
The Clippers’ win put L.A. one game ahead of the Warriors in the Western Conference standings. Golden State is now one game ahead of the Timberwolves and Mavericks, and 1.5 games ahead of the Thunder.
Here’s what fans and analysts were saying about Curry’s big night in a Warriors loss:
Steph is now up to 30.1 PPG on 67.3% TS this season.
Steph in 2015-16 averaged 30.1 PPG on 66.9% TS.
In 2015-16, however, we were able to win on the road. pic.twitter.com/KLeZbCSHiz
