How to watch Alabama vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in NCAA Tournament

The NCAA Tournament has officially arrived and the top-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide are set to hit the hardwood and take on the Islanders of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the round of 64 from Birmingham.

With the Crimson Tide playing in the state of Alabama, this neutral site venue is a defacto home court for the Tide and the crowd is sure to favor Alabama heavily.

The Islanders find themselves matched up with the Crimson Tide after defeating SE Missouri State on Tuesday night in the first four in Dayton.

Alabama is obviously heavily favored and will look to freshman star Brandon Miller to lead them past the Islanders and into the round of 32.

I started saying it when the SEC Tournament began and I will continue to say it until the season is over for Alabama, March is when you need your best to be their best. There is no denying that Brandon Miller is Alabama’s best and so far, he has delivered.

Jalen Jackson is fresh off a 22-point performance in the first four and was extremely aggressive attacking the basket. Jackson shot 18 free throws on Tuesday night and Alabama will need to limit those trips for Jackson on Thursday.

The Crimson Tide and the Islanders have only met once in their two programs’ history with Alabama defeating Texas A&M-CC back in Dec. of 2004, 76-54.

Alabama should handle the Islanders with ease on Thursday afternoon. The Tide have the advantage at all five positions and their length and athleticism will likely overwhelm the Islanders over 40 minutes. The Tide moves on to the round of 32.
