Cleveland Cavaliers big man Jarrett Allen is uncertain to play against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday due to his eye injury.
Allen sustained the injury late in the fourth of their Friday loss against the Miami Heat, wherein the Cavs note it up as an “eye contusion” as reported by Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com.
Fedor further detailed that Allen’s eye “looked better than expected” and will “hopefully be back sooner rather than later.”
This season, Allen is averaging 14.4 points and 9.8 boards in 64.9 percent efficiency.
Allen has missed seven games this year, wherein the Cavs are 3-4 with him out of the lineup.
