SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – UCLA senior Tyger Campbell has been selected to the updated 10-person watch list for this season’s Bob Cousy Award, honoring the nation’s best point guard.
Campbell has been recognized on the award’s revised watch list – down to 10 names – for the second consecutive season. He was among five award finalists near the conclusion of the 2021-22 college basketball season. The revised positional watch lists are being announced this week by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, starting with the Bob Cousy Award list on Monday.
Campbell, a 5-foot-11 guard from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has averaged 13.2 points, 4.9 assists and 2.4 rebounds in all 23 games for UCLA this season. He has shot 39.1 percent from the field and 34.7 percent from 3-point distance. Through Sunday’s college basketball games, Campbell has ranked No. 2 in the Pac-12 in assist-turnover ratio (2.46) and No. 4 in assists per game (4.9 apg).

Campbell is the only player on the 10-person updated watch list to have been recognized as one of last season’s top five finalists.
