UNC basketball forward Armando Bacot continues to add in-season honors to his name, this time being named to one Player of the Year list.
On Monday night, it was announced that Bacot was part of the 20-player list for the Wooden Award Late Season List. Bacot is one of four players from the ACC who is listed.
The ACC and Big 12 are tied for the most players from its league on the late season list.
Bacot is averaging 17.9 points, 11.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game this season. He has 10 games of at least 20 points and 11 double-doubles.
The Tar Heels have won 10 of their last 12 games and four in a row as they are starting to hit their stride, similarity to what they did a year ago.
UNC has two notable games this week, first against Pitt who defeated the Tar Heels earlier this season, and then at Duke.
