LOS ANGELES β Senior Charisma Osborne has been named to the John R. Wooden Award presented by Wendy’s Late Season Top 20 Watch List as announced by the Los Angeles Athletic Club on Monday.
Osborne is averaging a team-high 15.9 pointsΒ and 5.7 rebounds per game. The 5’9″ shooting guard averages 32.6 minutes per game and is shooting 80.7% from the free throw line.
Chosen by a poll of national college basketball experts based on their performances during the 2022-23 season thus far, the Wooden Award list comprises of 20 student-athletes who are front-runners for the sport’s most prestigious honor. The ACC leads all conferences with five selections on the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20, followed by the Big Ten and Pac-12 with four each, the Big East and SEC with three selections each, and the Big 12 with one selection.
