The UNC basketball program will enter the month of February with a 7-3 record in Atlantic Coast Conference play and riding a four-game win streak after a 3-3 start. The month will be a test for Hubert Davisβ team and if they want to get back and finish the job in the national championship game, they are going to have to hit their stride again.
But before they get ready for the month, and a date with rival Duke next Saturday, one ESPN analyst gave the Tar Heels praise.Β And it came after fans complained about him being on the call against Syracuse.
During ESPNβs College GameDay on Saturday, host Rece Davis asked who is the one team you wouldnβt bet against right now. It doesnβt matter the opponent, seed, matchup, etc. But the team you wouldnβt bet against in a single game.
After some answers came in, Davis quickly responded with his by saying βNorth Carolina.β
Davis was criticized during UNCβs win over Syracuse as Tar Heelsβ fans were not happy with his commentary, saying it was one-sided. You can see those reactions here. But this should help him get on those fansβ good side again.
