Eugene, Ore. – The newest installment in the men’s basketball gameday poster series was released in advance of today’s contest.
The artwork was designed by Ethan Varney and is available to download in the links on the right side of the page. The first 100 fans at tonight’s game will receive a print-out of the poster.
Varney, a junior Product Design major at the University of Oregon, will be honored during the first half and will be presented with a framed copy of her design. He had this to say about the poster design; “Growing up right next to Boulder it was a cool opportunity for me to have both of my worlds come together. I have a genuine sense of nostalgia while watching Oregon and CU play. It’s like old friends catching up, so I have them playing an old-school 8-bit basketball video game against each other.”

The series will continue for each home conference game and was created in an effort to amplify the talents of University of Oregon students, intersecting their artistic abilities with the on-court skills of UO student-athletes.
