COLLEGE PARK, MD —  The 10th-ranked Maryland women’s basketball team (16-4, 7-2 B1G) will host No. 13 Michigan (16-4, 6-3) Thursday at 6:30 p.m. For tickets, click here. Thursday’s game will be televised on the Big Ten Network. 

Parking will open at 4 p.m. in lots 4B, 9B, 11B and the Terrapin Trail Garage. Click here for a campus parking map. Adjusted traffic patterns will be in effect for fans attending Thursday’s game. Fans are asked to please follow police instructions.

Due to increased security measures this season, the ADA hallway near Gate C on the ground level of the XFINITY Center will remain closed to fans while occupied by teams on game day, both pregame and postgame. Once clear by teams, fans may be escorted through the hallway by a security staff member. Please expect delays in using this entrance to the arena. Fans are encouraged to enter and exit the arena via the concourse level.

 

2022-23 STORYLINES

What’s UP

  • Maryland won at Nebraska, 69-54, Sunday in Lincoln. Sophomore Shyanne Sellers led the way with 21 points and 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the year. Diamond Miller added 18 points.
  • Sellers was named Big Ten Player of the Week Monday for the first time in her career. She averaged 20.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in two wins on the week.
  • Diamond Miller is one of 25 top players in the country named to the Wooden Award Midseason Watch List.
  • The Terrapins have the second-toughest schedule in the country this season, according to the Massey Ratings. The Terrapins are 3-2 vs. ranked teams this season with two wins over top 10 teams.
  • Maryland currently has four 1,000 point scorers (Miller – 1,389; Meyers – 1,214; Briggs – 1,087; Alexander – 1,026) and one player nearing the mark – Elisa Pinzan (992).
  • Maryland women’s basketball is in its 52nd season and owns a record of 1,094-447 (.710). The Terrapins are No. 11 all-time in NCAA Division I history in winning percentage and No. 9 in all-time victories.
  • Senior Diamond Miller was named to the 10-player Preseason All-Big Ten Team for the second straight season to start the year. She is a two-time All-Big Ten honoree and was the 2021 Big Ten Tournament…
