Elliot Cadeau thinks 2024 class has ‘all the pieces’

2024 top-2 prospect ends UNC visit with ‘great’ vibes

Five-star Elliot Cadeau is one of the highest rated point guards to commit to the UNC basketball program in its history and headlines an extremely talented 2024 recruiting class for Hubert Davis.

Cadeau, ranked No. 8 overall and the top-rated point guard in the class, committed to UNC a few weeks ago and while he still has the option to move into the 2023 class, he’s not making that decision until the spring.

Joining Cadeau in the 2024 class is another five-star guard Ian Jackson — the No. 2 overall prospect in the class — four-star forward James Brown and four-star wing Drake Powell.

That leaves Cadeau thinking the Tar Heels have ‘all the pieces’ in the class and one that could bring a Championship to Chapel Hill.

“We really got all the pieces we need,” Cadeau told On3.com. “With Ian (Jackson) committing recently, he was another perfect piece.”

The Tar Heels currently hold the top-rated recruiting class and still aren’t done, currently involved with a few other five-star prospects.

Regardless if any other member joins the 2024 class or not, Cadeau will be heading to North Carolina and be surrounded by talented and winning players — something he wanted.

“I chose North Carolina because they’re a winning program and I would be surrounded by elite players when I get there.”

Hubert Davis continues to be lethal on the recruiting trail and with his success in just a year and a half, there will be more recruiting wins to happen moving forward.
