Two future Razorbacks named to the McDonald’s All-American roster

Bud Walton Arena will be the new home of two more McDonald’s All-Americans next season.

The most coveted game for high school hoops stars announced the rosters for the 2023 game, held in Houston on March 28. Future center for the men’s team, Baye Fall, and future guard for the women’s team, Taliah Scott, were added to the boys’ and girls’ rosters.

Fall will play on the West team with the headliner of the team, Bronny James. He joins Anthony Black and Nick Smith Jr. as the three such All-Americans to commit to Arkansas during the Eric Musselman era.

“This is an incredible honor and no doubt the highlight of my young career,” Fall said Tuesday. “The McDonald’s All-American Game has produced so many NBA stars like Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. To even be in the same conversation is nearly impossible to believe.”

Scott is 11th on the ESPNW HoopGurlz rankings and considered one of the country’s best shooters after winning the 3pt-contest at the Curry Camp last year.

Scott is one of six McDAA recruited by Mike Neighbors. She’ll join current players Maryam Dauda, Jersey Wolfenbarger, Sasha Goforth, Amber Ramirez, and Destiny Slocum.
