It’s been almost a month since Arkansas and LSU met in Baton Rouge to start SEC play. The Tigers were able to protect their homecourt in the 60-57 win, and the Hogs will hope to do the same on Tuesday night.
LSU’s season has gone completely off the rails since their win over Arkansas. They’ve lost six in a row including a 40-point thrashing at the hands of No. 2 Alabama. While the Tigers’ struggles don’t help the Arkansas resume much at all, it does provide the Razorbacks with an opportunity to gain some confidence.
Arkansas has not forgotten the physical and chippy nature of their Dec. 28 meeting, and they have some confidence following Saturday’s win. Add in the homecourt advantage that Bud Walton Arena provides and that’s a great recipe for the Hogs to have a big night.
Did I mention that it’s also going to be a “Pink Out?”
