UNC Basketball still not ranked in latest AP Top 25 poll

Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program are starting to find their groove as the January schedule starts to wind down. After beating NC State on Saturday, UNC is now 14-6 overall and 6-3 in conference play and winners of three-straight games.

But even with this surge, the Tar Heels still find themselves on the outside looking in for the Associated Press Top 25.

The Tar Heels were not ranked again this week but did receive votes in the latest poll. The 12 votes that UNC received put them 31 overall, behind Duke who was No. 26.

As for the ACC, it was a bit of a tough week again. Virginia did move up three spots to No. 7 but Miami fell three spots to No. 20 and Clemson fell five spots to No. 24.
