Cole Anthony helps Magic get past Celtics

The Orlando Magic are still trying to find their way this season as the month of January begins to wrap up. And on Monday night, they got a big win over a divisional opponent.

Orlando ended Boston’s nine-game win streak on Monday night 113-98, improving to 18-29. They did so behind big games from Paolo Bancher (23 points) and Wendell Carter Jr. (21 points). But former UNC point guard Cole Anthony also was a big factor.

The guard scored 18 points off the bench, shooting 8 of 12 from the field and also grabbing 5 rebounds and dishing out 4 assists. Anthony also threw down this big dunk on an alley-oop in the game:

While the Magic still have a losing record, they are becoming a fun team to watch thanks to the youth on the roster. And with Anthony finding a groove coming off the bench, he seems to be settling into his role.
