Badgers fall on road at Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. — Jordan Davis scored a career-high 15 points, but Wisconsin suffered a 66-63 loss on the road at Northwestern on Monday night.

Davis made a career-high six field goals (6-for-10), including three 3-pointers, but the Badgers (12-6, 4-4 Big Ten) were unable to earn the road victory.

Chucky Hepburn scored 12 points for UW, while Tyler Wahl’s 11 points and Connor Essegian’s 10 points rounded out double-figure scorers for the Badgers.

Neither team led by more than four points in the second half with 16 lead changes.

UW shot just 38.6 percent (22-for-57) from the floor, including just 10-for-31 shooting from beyond the arc.

Boo Buie scored a game-high 20 points for Northwestern (13-5, 4-3 B1G).

Up next, the Badgers have a quick turnaround on the road and travel to Maryland for a game Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT on Big Ten Network.
